About Gail Pemberton

Born in England and educated in Germany, France and England, Gail started her career in finance, after obtaining a French degree from the Sorbonne and Lille universities.

In London she worked for both an investment management company and an investment bank. After her marriage she moved to South Africa and stayed there for five years, working as a financial journalist and later returning to banking as part of a team managing pension funds. In the early 80’s after the birth of her first son she came to Australia and had two more children.

Returning to study Gail obtained a graduate diploma of psychotherapy and later a Master’s degree. She works on faculty at the Jansen Newman Institute teaching students psychotherapeutic and counselling skills as well as running her own successful private practice, both with individuals, groups and companies - www.awarenessadvantage.com

Gail has worked with a very broad cross section of the population from probationers to heads of industry. As a mother of three very successful children, her youngest son Rex Pemberton became the second youngest person in the world to climb the world’s seven summits in 2007 - www.rexpemberton.com.au and her daughter is currently Miss World Australia, she brings a wide range of experience to her work - www.missworldaustralia.com.au

This experience translates into a down to earth, easy style which characterizes her book.

While it may be unorthodox to endorse your mother's book, we think some of our success can be attributed to her offering us sound and healthy psychological advice.

Some of the most difficult relationships in life can be those that we have with our family. Everybody experiences situations of conflict at some stage, whether it be in the office or at home. I think our family has always been able to resolve these easily, because we understand and use the principles that underpin this book.

Mum has put her heart and soul into researching and developing the fascinating and interesting information in this book. We know it makes profound improvements in our lives.
